Social Events
Social events hosted by Expats Mind Care Club aim at expanding our social network as immigrants in Denmark.
The goal of us getting together is to get to know one another and forge some (hopefully) long lasting friendships that we can sometimes lack once living abroad.
Some of the social initiatives run in the past have been e.g. a weekly Language Café in collaboration with INSP! Roskilde, where local internationals and Danish participants came together to practice Danish, share experiences, and get to know each other. Another recurring initiative - Speed Friending - was designed to help people expand their networks and meet new friends. Conversations often went beyond small talk, touching on challenges, what participants appreciate about life in Denmark, and what they miss from home.
